Trading Rules

Trading Rules and Risk Management
The trading rules are aligned with the well-established guidelines from challenge accounts. Additionally, traders must adhere to the following specific rules to ensure proper risk management and maintain consistency:

Maximum Risk Per Trade:
- A trader is allowed to risk up to 2% of the initial account balance on a single currency pair at any given time.
- For example, if a trader opens multiple positions on EUR/USD, the total risk across all these positions must not exceed 2% of the initial account balance.
  - Acceptable: Opening one position with 0.5% risk, followed by another with 0.5% risk, is allowed as long as the cumulative risk remains below 2%.
  - Not Allowed: Having five simultaneous positions with 0.5% risk each on EUR/USD, as this would result in a cumulative risk of 2.5%, exceeding the limit.
Stop Loss (SL) and Take Profit (TP):
- All open trades must have both a Stop Loss (SL) and a Take Profit (TP) level set. This ensures proper risk control and prevents uncontrolled losses or gains.

Failure to comply with these rules may result in penalties or disqualification. These measures are in place to ensure discipline, protect the trading capital, and promote sustainable performance.

Partnership Conditions After Probation

Once you pass the probation period, you can choose to:

Work On-Site: Join us at our trading floors in Romania or Cyprus, with potential expansions to Thailand, the UK, or Dubai.
Work Remotely: Trade from anywhere with a stable internet connection and access to a computer.

Monthly In-Person Strategy Sessions

To ensure continuous improvement and alignment, all traders are required to attend two days per month on-site to discuss future plans, receive guidance, and review performance.

Travel and Accommodation: Fully covered by Alpha Prop Traders, including a minimum 3-star accommodation (subject to availability).

Account Options for Probationary Management

Upon successful interview completion, you’ll select one of the following accounts to manage during your probationary period:

Account 1: €80,000
- Activation Fee: €299
- Profit Target: 26% within 8 months, or 42% if extended to 12 months
Account 2: €150,000
- Activation Fee: €499
- Profit Target: 18% within 6 months, or 38% if extended to 12 months
Account 3: €250,000
- Activation Fee: €999
- Profit Target: 14% within 4 months, or 30% if extended to 8 months

Activation Fee Purpose

The activation fee serves to unlock your testing account, fostering a professional commitment and ensuring responsible trading. This requirement discourages gambling tendencies, promoting a disciplined approach essential for success.

Our Rigorous Selection Process

Only serious applicants with proven skill, discipline, and consistency will succeed in our selection process, which includes:

Initial Interview: A comprehensive evaluation of compatibility and potential fit.
Account Selection: Choose your probationary account, which determines the length of the probation period.
Two Testing Phases: Designed to rigorously assess trading discipline, consistency, and adherence to our rules. Full details of these phases are shared during the interview and are available on our website.

Compliance and Accountability

All traders are expected to adhere strictly to our trading rules. If any rule is violated during the testing or 4-8 month probation period, we will conduct a review to assess the potential for a second chance. Alpha Prop Traders reserves the right to terminate the selection process if any rules are breached.

Trader Responsibility: Each trader assumes full responsibility for their decisions. Alpha Prop Traders reserves the right to review all trading activities and may end the selection process if rules are violated.

Minimum Age Requirement: 18 years or older.

No Investment Requirement: Alpha Prop Traders will never ask traders to invest their own funds. Activation fees apply solely to unlock test accounts, and traders cannot claim moral or financial damages in the future.
